WALKSAFE Queensland Anti-Violence Incorporated - Building Partnership Project. This is a Gambling Community Benefit Fund, Queensland Government  funded initiative, conducted through Walksafe Queensland Anti-Violence  Incorporated (Walksafe). This project survey is part of a community consultation to  investigate how to build stronger partnerships between the Queensland  Police Service and community members who have or may experience  violence due to their sexuality, ethnicity or gender identity. It is being carried out through Gay and Lesbian Health Victoria (www.glhv.org.au) in partnership with the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society (ARCSHS) at La Trobe University. The Home and Away Project
This aims to examine ideas of home and the role of travel in establishing and maintaining the wellbeing of gay or queer males, living in and around Townsville.This project is being carried out by Gordon Waitt, University of Wollongong) and Andrew Gorman-Murray (Macquarie Universit ).

As part of my PhD studies I am seeking to hear real stories from young
women and young men on your experiences of what it's like to be
