In response to ongoing homophobic abuse and attacks in the Fortitude Valley-City areas of Brisbane, local LGBT groups and businesses have put together a campaign to encourage reporting. This campaign includes the Townsville Thuringowa region as well.
The www.walksafe.org website provides the ability to report on-line and find out about other safety related information.  A summary of reports received will also be posted on this site.
